Consider yourself a tech freak? The Highlandtown Arts and Entertainment District, often known as Highlandtown Arts or ha!, is among the largest districts within the State. Consisting of 335 acres and almost 10,000 individuals, it also accommodates one of many largest Primary Road Districts within the Metropolis. The Southwest Symphony Orchestra performs on the Cox Performing Arts Heart on the campus of Dixie State College. Because the cornerstone of the humanities in Southern Utah, the Southwest Symphony is now in its thirty sixth season. The seventy five-member orchestra, performed by Maestro Lucas Darger, fulfills a task in the neighborhood as a viable cultural resource of symphonic music and academic advocacy. The Symphony also presents the annual Handel’s a gift to the neighborhood, due to its many group sponsors. As a 501(c) (three) entity, the Symphony depends on funding via private and non-private sources.

The Arts, Entertainment, and Recreation sector includes a variety of establishments that operate facilities or present providers to fulfill varied cultural, leisure, and recreational pursuits of their patrons. This sector contains (1) establishments which might be involved in producing, selling, or participating in reside performances, occasions, or exhibits supposed for public viewing; (2) institutions that preserve and exhibit objects and websites of historic, cultural, or instructional interest; and (three) establishments that function amenities or provide providers that enable patrons to take part in leisure activities or pursue amusement, passion, and leisure-time interests.
